Thanks for the replies. I have fixed the issue now and have also successfully installed Mojave.
I was missing the EmuVariableUefi-64.efi driver. Placed the driver and resumed the installation from the external HDD — went down without a hitch. Also, I downgraded to clover v4558 from v5018...
I am trying to installing Mojave to an external drive connected via USB 3.0. The installer boots and begins installation, but suddenly stops with 2 minutes to go. This scenario is consistent across several attempts of installation. It occurs regardless of the file system being installed to...
I have not patched the ACPI. What kind of patches are we talking about here?
Other than that, I have installed the kexts in S/L/E instead of injecting.
What tests could I run to check if the GPU is performing as it should? Right now turning on transparency causes it to freeze. I checked the console and found the AppleIntelHD3000 logging a driver hang event. This particular hang resolves itself unless if the transparency is on it will not...
I see. Thanks. I will give it a whirl when I have some time on my hand. Anyway, I am injecting all the kexts I need, which I am pretty sure is not the recommended practice.
Turning off transparency in accessibility really makes a difference. It still freezes when animations are playing out. But when transparency is on, windows such as chrome freeze as being moved or popping out of dock. When frozen, the cursor can be moved, the audio can be heard but no interaction...

2. I know. Only native power management using ssprgen.sh
3. DVMT-prealloc already set to 64mb
I had missed the last command from the FAQ
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u
the output is
KernelCache ID...
Not sure if the GPU is the culprit but the OS freezes few minutes after booting when some apps are opened especially any browser. The cursor can be moved while everything else becomes irresponsive. Only way out is pressing down the power switch for a few seconds. Most likely to happen when some...
I know, sorry. Anyway the problem is now fixed. Just had to restore the image once again. It is installed now. Thanks for the response.
Is there any any possibility of getting the USB 3 to work with 10.11+?
Installing GenericUBXHCI didn't solve the problem, it still can't find the root device. Also plugging into the eSATAp changes nothing, still it waits for root device. Console shows the USBMSC non unique identifier messeage. GenericUBXHCI compains that bus 14 already taken. Changing the port when...
Is there any way to get this controller to work? The hub dies when the install disk begins to boot and "still waiting for root" shows up which I guess is expected. I also can't get the eSATAp port to work. Are they somehow related? Does anyone know about any possible workaround?
