I think between the USB port issues and the 50-60 restarts I had to do to actually troubleshoot and FINSIH an installation, haven't learnt much except that we're really lucky to be able to even boot into OSX on non-native hardware.

Sounds like it's related to the Clocking of the External interface, Pro Tools will take exclusive control of the interface when using it, Sibelius might need to be set with longer Buffer times or other settings to function properly
