Well Layout ID 16 is working but the rear green audio Jack is using headphones as the output now. This is a temporary fix but I’ll have to fix it because this might give me some problems when using audio plugins.

Are you connecting a headphone? Yes If so, is the jack fully inserted? Yes Does the same headphone work on the front? Yes Is the volume of the rear jack turned up? Yes Are there any other applications running that might be locking up the rear audio jack? Nope. I use Soudsource and loopback but I...

Headphones work great but the internal speakers don't. I doubt that the rear output is broken as it was working under Ventura but this might be an unfortunate coincidence.

Haha! Before diving in the layout ocean, could the same MB have a different layout ? Also, it use to be alcid=11 on Ventura why should it be different in Sonoma ?

Front jack is working great but rear green audio jack isn't. Could a wrong layout make one work and not the other ?

So, I RTFM again . Looks like I do not have the right layout ID for my system. There are some weird things that happened to my system after the Sonoma update. I must confess that I am a bit rusty/lazy regarding my hackintosh, everything has been made so easy lately. Anyway, I don't really...

Sorry for the late feedback, my boot argument is indeed alcid=11 but it does not work. Should I try a different number ? If so, what is the range ? Thanks.

Everything went well except that I do not have any audio from the Line Out/Front Speaker Out. Any idea what might have happened ? Thanks.

Thanks @CaseySJ. Could you explain what happened ? How did I corrupt my config.plist just by adding a nvme ? Finally,I cannot create a -data partition with Diskutil for my Backup. All volumes are shown and I use APFS and GUID Partition Map but it just create one volume.

No optical drives connected - and I have disconnected everything. Are you using Broadcom or Intel WiFi? I am using Broadcom but I've taken the card out when I installed the second nvme. But when everything went kaput, I've reinstalled it. Disk Utility gave me no error. Btw, I have post my...
