Success...no changes to my HS Beta setup. No issue with APFS conversion. Smooth Install.

Update 9/2/17: Latest HS beta ... dual RX470 working. no black screen boot. onboard gfx disabled. Using 'MacPro6,1', latest clover, used latest multibeast, lilu 1.7, evergreen .... success!!!!!!!!!!

success here, but same as with Sierra, can only have 1 of my RX470 powered at a time.

I'll give it a go in the morning. thanks! edit: No go on dual cards. However, I was able to get the latest HSBeta to boot through. (Same result on dual cards, no dice)

Just a follow up Gigamaxx... Lilu & evergreen installed...internal gfx removed. successful boot with only 1 card. with both enabled, black boot. it is nice however to not need igfx. I'm going to look at possible renaming using DSDT and see if that helps any.

it's just really odd that it will work in SAFE MODE with no issues, but beyond that it isn't.

Not currently, however, I will give it a go... are there any setup tips for using them that you know of ?

Having troubles with dual 470... Safe mode - both working great with both cards - black screen With only 1 card - boot, multi monitor ok Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

here's my config file.... been trying to follow the guide ... but stumbling at being able to dump my vBios from the card ... will try switching over to windows and trying from there to get the bios file... then maybe I can get it working. and thanks for any help!

I've updated the kernel extensions, used inject in clover and as you can see, the card is showing as 480 (it's really an psi rx470 oc edition)...what more do I need to do to get it working so I can have it driving my monitor ... currently it's using the igfx and I'd prefer to be using the hdmi...

Struggled to get things going but I made it this far... posting from Sierra (with combo update applied). I could not get my fresh install of Sierra to boot. I could boot just fine from the installer stick but was unable to get the internal drive to boot. Here are things I did to get it working...
