    [Success] b1's "Mac Mini Killer" with macOS Mojave: i7-8700 | Gigabyte Z370N | RX560 | 16GB RAM

Sorry @Rajkhand, I hadn't had the chance to test it until your reminder. First of all thanks for taking the time to prepare the file. It worked for me but front ports were USB2 only and one of the rear USB3 ports that I needed (the couple ports beside the ethernet connector) was not enabled. I...

Many thanks for the prompt response @Rajkhand! However, even with your kext the front ports still won't respond to any device connected. It's not hardware malfunction since they work fine on the Windows partition. I wonder if I have to make any changes on the .aml files as well?

@Rajkhand thanks for sharing it and sorry for the incredibly slow response - my Hackintosh is my production computer and I need to be careful not to risk any important project. With your USBPorts.kext I got all the rear USB ports working and providing full energy when charging phones etc. I...

I have a special request as well. If you use OpenCore and have mapped your USB ports for the Z370N, and they include the front ones, can you please share your EFI? I ask because in Big Sur 11.3 USB ports must be mapped, otherwise most of the USB devices will stop working.

@Rajkhand and @rrviega could you guys please check the charging current provided to your Apple devices? With the device connected, click the Apple button -> About this Mac -> System Report -> USB (under the first tab Hardware). Then click the name of the device and please report the value for...

    [Success] b1's "Mac Mini Killer" with macOS Mojave: i7-8700 | Gigabyte Z370N | RX560 | 16GB RAM

Hey folks, Has anyone managed to get 2100mA of power from the USB ports using OpenCore while charging their iPhone/iPad/iPod? It used to work with Clover, but probably needs some extra configuration with OC that I was not able to find.

Just wondering: what about the fact that iMac18,1 doesn't come with a dedicated GPU? Can this negatively affect a Hackintosh equipped with, say, a RX580?

@Rajkhand can you please detail how you made your DW1560 work? Are you still on Catalina or have you tried Big Sur? What about fixing DRM, what was the magic?

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward for the release of Big Sur. Just one more question though. What wireless/bluetooth device you have in your hackintosh? By any chance it's a Broadcom BCM94352Z? I ask because this is the wireless device I have and I'm a bit worried that it won't be Big...

@rrviega are you enjoying Big Sur so far? Have you experienced any issue? Is everything working good in your system (quicksync, icloud, Messages, AirDrop etc)?

The Acidanthera team (developers of LiLu, WhateverGreen etc) stopped supporting Clover as of Sep 1 2019. Since then, they only test their projects with OpenCore. While this doesn't necessarily mean that Clover will suddenly stop working, I think chances are higher of things breaking with Clover...

Indeed there is a lot of useful information here. However, most of it is about configuring Clover. It feels like Clover will be inevitably replaced by OpenCore, it's just a matter of time. Therefore, I think most of the discussion in this topic might not be as useful anymore. Besides, like you...

Amazing job, thank you very much for sharing @rrviega. I have been postponing the migration to OpenCore for quite a long time, but once Big Sur is officially released I will definitely do a clean install on my hackintosh using OC. Just one thing: would you consider creating a new topic with...
