I see a lot of potential issues with this.
Just to name a few:
- wrong SMBIOS platform
- unnecessary kexts
- unnecessary SSDTs
I just updated my repository to include OC v0.6.5
There are a few issues however that I haven't had time to properly address:
- trackpad physical buttons don't seem to...
Dual boot can be easily set up
Not sure about the dGPU and High Sierra, if I had to guess I’d say its not possible. Y520 uses Nvidia Optimus which will probably never be supported under macOS.
Adding a HDD shouldn’t be an issue, be aware that Y520 has a single m.2 slot and a single sata slot for...
I have successfully used OC v0.5.8 as a direct replacement for Clover without any issues.
However I haven't continued its use because of its lack of support for a proper UI at the time.
You can find it here: Github
As for your issue, are you sure you are using the latest kexts from the guide...
Numpad is working, the keys are just not bound to numbers (as if Num Lock wasn’t on), touchpad should be working fine with basic gestures when using RehabMan’s build.
Have you thoroughly tested with that kext?
Should be simple enough, rename bootmgfw.efi to bootmgfw-orig.efi and point your BIOS to boot Clover.
Guide should cover touchpad and keyboard backlight. You have to use RehabMan’s build of VoodooPS2Controller. As for the keyboard backlight, it should be working if you are following the guide.
You are running a very old build of Clover (r4701), whilst this version would work with older builds of Mojave, it won't work with the newer ones, this includes Catalina.
Update your Clover from the official repository, latest build as of this reply is r5119.
You have some redundant drivers in drivers64UEFI/ , but they shouldn't cause these issues.
Is your Windows install asleep whilst you're trying to boot macOS?
EDIT: Did you configure your BIOS settings according to the guide?
I haven't yet figured out how to get Num Lock functionality to work, however you can use a custom map with VoodooPS2Keyboard to map out the num-pad keys like so:
This isn't a very good solution but it does work.
Note: I haven't mapped the top row as I frequently use the media controls, this can...
Your kexts are wrong, are you following the guide?
WhateverGreen is missing, you should be using VirtualSMC instead of FakeSMC
USBInjectAll is not needed, all ports are correctly mapped via DSDT
Attach your EFI folder
What version of Mojave are you trying to install? RehabMan Clover builds are out of date and won't allow you to boot a newer version of Mojave
One thing to note is that Apple seems to have made S/L/E and L/E read-only, meaning that you can only inject kexts with Clover now. These scripts might not be entirely suited for Catalina. But you should definitely give it a try, I don't see why just using Clover to inject kexts wouldn't work...
You do understand Mavericks is like 6 years old at this point right?
That's a big no.
I think people got High Sierra working fine with the guide, prehaps even Sierra would work. But going further back, I wouldn’t expect it to work and unfortunately no one will probably even bother helping...
