Not so sure.
But turn on internal graphics,
(BIOS Version F8)Setting-IO Ports-Internal Graphics-Enabled
will freeze at boot screen.
High Sierra seems fine.
I heard about 970 EVO+ issue before building hackintosh. The first time I installed Catalina very smooth also 970 EVO (2TB). Freezing problem was after I reinstalled Catalina to 250GB 970 EVO.
The first time I tried, installation process was so smooth.
The second time I reinstalled to another smaller M.2 SSD (Samsung 970 EVO) , always get frozen during installation, but it was completed after retrying several times. Might be something I done wrong, no so sure.
If memory serves me...
I tried as iMac 19,1 , “Unable to Connect...time out.” error was fix, but iPad got Black screen. Funny thing is Screen shots still works with both side, Mac and iPad.
About SideCar you might wanna read this post. Mine is iMacPro 1,1. Might work with iMac 18,3 or iMac 19,1.
HandBrake is no stable in Catalina.
(HandBrake V1.3 don't work.HandBrake V1.2 can't add artwork to video files.)
So, I decided to stay on High Sierra(HFS+).
Not only the speed problem, NoneZip EFI also makes files size up to 63.5MB(197% larger), and it was too many troubles confusing me.
I needed to download BaiduNetdisk app (Baidu display some error messages in chinese about
"Download items was over 500 files limit. Needs VIP membership "...
>Wifi, I'm going to buy the hardware, Any advice?
