It just seems like its a problem with one thing but ends up being something else that I can't seem to wrap my head around. Like I seem to have the latest version of OCC from what I gathered online, and I don't know if you're implying that I do or not? I maybe overthinking it, and I'll dig a bit...

So should I have not done what I did in terms of just replacing the entire EFI folder from my USB onto the SSD? I'm a bit confused as to what I should be putting into consideration when looking at the OCC. Mines a 0.9.6 but should that interfere with me putting in my old serials?

Running into another bit of a hiccup here. I've copied my config.plist that's booting perfectly off of the USB (still has your UUID and serials on) and I've copied it over to my old NVMe (the new one is not installed yet). I then open the EFI partition and then put in my old system name, System...

The main application folder contains all the appS and all the files are present in my user folder. I am picking up a new NVMe after work today. Just to be sure, I should: - install the NVMe on the 2nd slot of my MB - do a fresh install of Mojave on it using my USB that I’ve been booting off...

I see, so I should be good? Should I go with option 1 here?

Wow, 1.5mil miles? absolutely bonkers! Thank you clarifying! Once I copy the EFI partition over along With all the other data from the original partition, I’m guessing I should get rid of the BigSur compartment before I carbon copy over to the new NVMe? Also I found none of my apps show up...

Hey @CaseySJ I just got back home from my trip and about to migrate all these over. Few things: - I made the mistake of having more than 1 EFI partition on so in the end it seems like I was using the original one you gave me. Can I manually go into the config.plist and put in my old System...

I won’t need to do any migrant assistance work or anything, correct? Also should I switch all the serials to the ones I used to have? We stripped a lot from my old EFI so I should add those back in right? I guess the serial and the 5700xt are the only ones that come to mind. Lastly, I compared...

Okay. I got it to work and boot! What's the best way to copy this EFI over? Should I mount the partition from USB and my SSD while I'm on Monterey and basically copy and paste? Then reboot off the SSD?

Trying this again now with updated kernel When it says pick the internal macOS SSD (11 & 16) would that be 'Monterey2023' in my case? I just have so many options out so I just wanna make sure its hitting the right one. ALSO should I reformat the additional volume (Monterey2023) before...

Yeah the second time I did it correctly, I got an error. The first time when I let it boot on its own onto the SSD, I came back home to it fine but did it again, thinking it booted incorrectly.

What do I need to be selecting when the boot menu comes up? Also it just finished and gave me this...I couldnt catch the reboot the first time so I went back to disk utility, reformatted the AFPS Monterey2023 then installed onto the same disk. Caught the reboot, and launched from the USB, then...

So I nursed this thing as it was installing. It goes to black then the Gigabyte splash screen comes on, and I got it to boot from the USB. It takes me to the Boot menu, then goes black, and now its installing....does that sound right? Is this gonna boot 3 more times? What do I need to be...

When this is installing, do I need to make sure it boots onto the USB everytime or should I let it boot into the SSD since its technically writing onto the extra volume we just created?
