wow it seems 10.14 beta 3 has fixed the bug related to freezing rx580 in fcpx with h264 and hevc 8bit. @shuhung Can you check the problem again? I tried and fcpx not freezes anymore. But I do not know rx580 have been used to encode/decode? @@
Wait for a better update to solve the problem of rx580 :) Meanwhile, maybe we still need to continue to work with windows :)). Follow this topic and wait for the better :)
I do not inject id
Quicktime screen recording is still working normally
I do not understand you at this point but My FCPX share as H264 is working normally
wow, i downloaded compressor 4.4.1 but fcpx shows only HEVC 10bit in apple device, so strange ~~
My system is X299, so it native cpu power management, Sleep/wake work perfect on X299 system. see this link https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/how-to-build-your-own-imac-pro-successful-build-extended-guide.229353/
As I said in the previous post, I updated the system to 10.13.5, then used Kext...
When i use Ellesmere.kext, IOGVAHEVCDecode string is 2, Encode string is 1. If i not use Ellesmere.kext, IOGVAHEVCDecode string is 1, Encode string is 1. Should I use kext again?
Besides, I installed the compressor but did not see the 8bit / 10bit HEVC option in FCPX> Destinations> Compressor...
I tried and failed. The AMDx4000 kext that I am using is of 10.13.4 (not have to 10.13.3 as I said above, a mistake). In the FCPX there are two lines 8bit and 10bit as attached, I do not know whether hevc is enabled yet?
Seems I was mistaken. The AMDx4000 files that I send you are of 10.13.4. I updated Pc to 10.13.5 and use AMDx4000 of 10.13.4. You can update to 10.13.5 and try again
