Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

I see now why I shouldn't use it. Create a custom EFI. I'll try to create it using the sites in this thread as a reference, but if I get stuck working on it, I'll ask more questions.

Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

I understand that regular use of EFI in this thread is not a good idea. I am making an effort to create a custom EFI if I can. Since I was able to change the model number of the EFI in this thread, which I was able to confirm booting, to MacPro7,1, I decided that this value would not have much...

Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

I challenge myself to understand it, but I still find it difficult. I have tried using OpenCoreConfigurator, but it takes a lot of time to identify which of the EFI's in this thread are working well. I figure if I can get around the ACPI Error, I can boot the installer. In that case, should I...

Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

I was able to boot the installer using @Aniruth 's EFI and USB 2.0 ports! I don't really understand the contents of @Aniruth 's EFI, but is it safe to continue using it? I'll report back with the results of the installation.

Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

Yes, that was a question for @Aniruth regarding config.plist. But I don't understand why @UtterDisbelief recommended iMac18,3 in his earlier reply. I would like to ask you if this choice of model number changes the behavior.

I can't seem to use pictograms, so I've attached a reference image.

Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

Am I correct in thinking that the behavior is affected by SystemProductName? I changed config.plist as follows NVRAM>Add>boot-args Add -v NVRAM>Generic>MLB,SystemProductName,SystemSerialNumber,SystemUUID Enter the one generated by iMac18,3...

Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

Thanks for the reply. I created an installation USB from the createinstallmedia command using the latest version of Big Sur (11.3.1) downloaded from the App Store.

Installation of Big Sur using OpenCore fails (i7-8700K, UHD Graphics 630, ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING)

This is my first post, so please let me know if there are any flaws. I am having trouble installing Big Sur. The system stops at the location shown in the attached image. I changed the following settings from the defaults in OC Gen-X 2.6.8 to generate EFI and copy it via USB. System Type -...
