I agree, it would not seem logical. But again, if anyone can show data that GPU power management is better, I'd give it a try. Until then I prefer not to change SMBIOS because of issues with account reactivation.

Can you elaborate a little? Not sure what you mean. Are you suggesting changing the SMBIOS? I'd be happy to try if anyone can confirm a lower power usage using this trick.

My update gets stock after first restart. See screenshot. Upgrading from latest 10.14 to 10.15.1. Updated Clover, WEG, LILU and ALC (into /other) to latest before 10.15.1 update started. Don't know how to proceed. Tried agdpmod=pikera with no luck.
