    Gigabyte X79S-UP5 rev1.1 with the Xeon E5-2680v2

Sorry for the long wait, I have been really busy since my daughter passed back in Feb. No, I have never fixed the issue. The easiest "fix" is turning off all the cores except one in the BIOS, when you want to boot Mac. The issue is actually not in Mac, are anything to do with Mac, it is...

    Gigabyte X79S-UP5 rev1.1 with the Xeon E5-2680v2

I am having a problem where I can't get the computer to run all 10 cores/20threads. I get through the installer Turning off all cores but one, and turning off Hyper Threading, using the boot flags: -v npci=0x3000 PciRoot=1 dart=0. I install it, use the most up to date multi beast, don't install...

    Gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5 Mavericks Guide

I'm using the same board bios F5f, with a Xeon E5 2680 V2 processor, and I am having a problem. When I installed the VoodooTSCSync.kext, and modified it so I can use all 20 cores, I still get a "TSC Unsynchronized on Core X"... If I use TSC_sync_margin=0 as a boot flag, I get a "using 16384...

    Mavericks installation problems on GA-Z87M-D3H

I'm having the same problem, except I am using the i3-4330, and VT-d is grayed out in BIOS. When I run with the boot flags of dart=0 -x -v I get this error "30.990829: ATHR: unknown locale:21"

    PCH Die at 127 Celsius ??? 10.9 Gigabyte B75M-D3H

I am getting this too, however it is in both Windows 7 and 10.9. I am using the Z87M-D3H. This build is for my mother-in-law, and I need to get this fixed. Any news on what causes this?

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP5 TH Thunderbolt (Updated to 10.8.2 and MultiBeast 5.2)

My rig works, but every few weeks my bios keeps getting corrupted. So I switch to the other bios, until that one corrupts, then I just reset both using the reset bios button. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this issue, and have your fixed it? Same mobo, and i7-3770K, using HD4000. This is...

You know, I think I did. It was only a small annoyance until yesterday. I will try clover tonight or tomorrow when I have some free time. Is there any special way to uninstall Chameleon?

I am having a new issue, when I have my OS X hard drive plugged in, I can't boot into Windows. But once I pull the power cable on the OS X drive, I can boot into Windows. I am still not seeing Windows show up in my Chimera menu.

Yes, I am using Chimera 2.0.1, and I am unable to boot to my Windows hard drive. I have a 60 GB SSD that holds the OS X operating system and have my Windows installed on a 2 TB hard drive, that is partitioned into 2 parts. The first part is 1.5 TB, and holds data for Mac, and the second 500 GB...

I work in a IT department at my college, and we use this to boot out Bootcamped Macs. I was curious if anyone has used this in a hackintosh setting, or even if it is possible, as I would like to find an easier way to boot between my two systems. As far as installation goes, I know you have to...

Native Support for NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti and GTX 660 Graphics Cards in 10.8.3

I have a question. Is the 680 Classified supported by 10.8.3? I am debating between the 680 Classified and the 680 OC. If some one can tell me that would be awesome.

    Official HD 4000 Support

Never mind, I figured it out. Even though the VGA through thunderbolt works, the plain VGA doesn't because Mac's don't support. The only patch I found was one for Intel HD 3000, but I don't think it would work in my case because I am using Intel HD 4000.

    Official HD 4000 Support

I have been trying to figure out why I can't use dual screen on my hackintosh. I have the HD 4000 right now, but plan on getting the evga 670 soon when I can afford it. I have two small screens connected, one via VGA to Mini-DVI connector, and then the second by VGA. When I turn on the computer...

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP5 TH Thunderbolt (Updated to 10.8.2 and MultiBeast 5.2)

Is there something I missed, because I am unable to use the HDMI audio with this method. Or do I have to do more?
