Hm... the build signature tool doesn't have an option for my hardware. When I select Z690 the only option I get is "Asus". There's no Gigabyte or "Other" in the dropdown. But fwiw my regular signature actually shows the correct MB model. Yes downloading the installer is certainly an option...

Ok here's one problem with my z690 setup, it's still on 13.3.1(a) and wouldn't pick up any new Software Updates. No errors and nothing obvious in the system logs. SIP shows enabled. Thoughts? Ideas?

Yup, 128Gb works fine for me. 4xCMK64GX4M2D3600C18 The layout is kinda tight there so make sure you get a slim CPU cooler if you plan to have 4 memory modules. I have Noctua NH-U12S Redux and it fits fine.

So I did some more experimentation and found that using iMac18,2 SMBIOS and ig-platform-id=00001259 and deviceid=1250000 actually get me 1536Mb and full acceleration! Yay!
