Another update: I tried forcing the Kamarang and Iriri framebuffers for the RVII, no dice, no display, no signal. Not even a black screen (once the GPU drivers load of course).
I then turned my iGPU's ig-platform-id from connectorless to connectorful, and no freezes so far.
Update: BOTH MONITORS WORK!
Just moved them to the two closest ports to the HDMI port. Here's an injector kext (will work from /C/K/O)... My system partition was touched but reverted it.
Nobody needs to kext-mangle anymore.
Edit: Still getting the freezes, though. :c
Okay, I just got my Radeon VII 11 hours ago and am testing. It boots without acceleration, but every time I try to inject it (id in X5000, injector kext I made myself, etc.) I get a black screen. I'm using the iGPU but with a connectorless ig-platform-id (I don't know if that matters). I have...
You can also inject the framebuffer-stolenmem property if you can't change DVMT-Prealloc, you'll also need framebuffer-patch-enable. See the guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-intel-framebuffer-patching-using-whatevergreen.256490/
Hello, everyone. Here's an unusual one for you. My battery percentage gets stuck if I charge to 100%. I have to do an EC reset (shut down laptop, plug out power, press power for 15s then power on). It gets stuck even in Windows.
As long as I'm under 100% all's fine and the status works...
Hello.
My battery percentage gets stuck. It'll show whether it's charging or not correctly but the percentage itself doesn't go up or down.
It works in Windows and as soon as I boot into macOS it gets stuck -- And stays stuck even if I go back to Windows or across restarts.
