I am currently using the lower m.2 and plan to use the one next to the cpu soon.
Is this link between sata and m.2 related to OC or motherboard? Where can i read more about it?
I have tried your OC EFI. It works. I see that you have a patched SSDT.
One piont. I see that the system does not recognize SATA drives. Do i need to add a kext?
Thanks Tedyun. Really appreciated. I still have not tried your EFI as i also got busy. But will let you know if GertyMcGee post is of any help here.
Important thing that i have it running for now with the RX 5700 XT. Probably my friend can live with the rx 5700 instead of the RTX 2070.
I will...
Will go through your thread and sure want to get the full system working. I will come back to you once that is done.
My interest is to get the system working with just the iGPU. since it is working with the RX 5700 XT now, i thought i can dig around and enable hardware acceleration of the iGPU...
Certainly I want to continue with Clover as I don't know anything about OC.
Edit. This is my current EFI folder. I am still booting from the unibeast install EFI.
So how to setup the OC bootable USB. Shall I just configure the BIOS and replace my EFI with the EFI you have in GitHub? and then install as normal? hopefully it is that simple.
No. I have not installed any of above. Actually, so far I have not used multicast and I don't actually plan to. What does it do different than the EFI made form the unibeast?
Thanks again. I got it installed using only the agdpmod=pikera. It was working fine. There is an issue with it. When i installed intel power gadget, it installed fine. When i try to launch it, the hackintosh forze and restarted.
Then i went and installed istat menus. When i try to launch it...
Yes. The clover menu does not show up. There is something wrong with that EFI folder. However, see my other post where i got the install working by just the agdpmod=pikera boot argument. I see in your EFI config you are using a lot of arguments. Can you please explain why we need it?
Guess what, i made a new usb bootable disc and i forgot to change the default 14,2 smbios. I was able to boot with just the agdpmod=pikera boot argument.
Let me complete the install and get back to you. I will later change it to 19,1 or imac pro 1,1.
Did you use any other boot arguments to...
