With watchdog disabled my Monterey 12.0.1 Setup boots up in under 3 Minutes from USB 2.0(!).

I bought a FL1100 based USB3.0 controller which is working out of the box - no sleep issues.

You need to boot off a clover usb flash drive and get into efi shell and set a boot entry using bcfg.

Hi, you can try to use the attached kexts for your system. Of course make a backup of your "Other" folder ;). Is there a reason why you are on High Sierra + Clover instead of Catalina + OpenCore? good luck

Sorry for the late reply, I had (apple) raid0 running for years without a problem :)

i also tried the EFI Bios, some error :( i got 6 x sata 2 ports on my mainboard so I only "lost" 2 hdds.

my areca-horror started with Lion. I had never changed the SMBIOS. btw i dumped the areca controller and switched to apple software raid. write & read speed is almost the same. I never had problems using 3ware 9650 cards but they are f*cking expensive, so I'm gonna stay with apple software raid.

Hi, i think i tried all combinations with firmware and drivers with my areca arc 1220 (8x500gb, raid0) and mavericks, but no luck :( the volumeset and raidset will die after starting up mavericks ... what i did: o) create raid set and volume in raid bios utility -> fine o) initializing...
