    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I think CaseySJ has warnings about Thunderbolt 3 monitors. You should see that somewhere if you search this thread. Displayport and HDMI monitors work pretty much without fuss though.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Yes, I am running three monitors: (1) 4K LG TV, (2) 27" 4K LG Display, and (1) 32" HD Display with my Radeon 5700XT.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Speaking as an M1 Mac mini purchaser and having had the machine for about a month and a half, I say the following: I too am a Hackintosher, and the Golden Build here is what I built in the beginning of 2019. I love my machine, though I don't relish the upgrade process on Hackintosh for the OS...

    GA-X58A-UD3R Catalina Install Mini Guide

You should probably set your BIOS back to defaults and then change the appropriate options again. You may also need to reformat and remake your USB installer.

CaseySJ, if you don't need to have a modded Thunderbolt chip, I have the prerequisites and an Apple Thunderbolt Display.

    GA-X58A-UD3R Catalina Install Mini Guide

Sounds like you may have either a firmware issue where you may need to reset everything back to optimized defaults and then reconfigure according to the guide. If that doesn't help, then it may be the actual formatting of your USB drive holding things up since that's where it seems to get...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

If you're using an Apple Magic Mouse 2, which has a lightning port on it, you can use the keyboard in BIOS if you connect a lightning cable to it from your computer. It will work as a USB keyboard.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I've not been able to get anything Bluetooth to work in OpenCanopy over Bluetooth. But, if I plug my lightning cable (USB) into my Apple Magic Keyboard 2 (Bluetooth & USB), it does work in OpenCanopy, and I can stop the machine from executing and even get into the BIOS, etc. It seems that...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hey CaseySJ, thanks so much for your patience and the new OpenWireless EFI. I still had some issues with it on my system but I think I resolved it. First, it looks like the versions of the driver in the new EFI are the 1.3 version for Catalina and Big Sur, but 2.0 for Mojave. Was that...

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Hmmmm. Tried those settings but no go. I do notice that under the MinKernal and MaxKernal columns, mine doesn't have anything for those two new kexts. I wonder if that could that have something to do with it? Here are my new screens.

I'm on Designare Z390 so my screen 1 and 2 above is a little different. The third screen is the same.

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

I just replaced the AirportItlwm kext with the new version. Also tried the renaming that you suggested to AirportItlwm-Big-Sur and AirportItlwm-Catalina and adding those to the config.

Yes. But the 1.3 version of the driver for Big Sur was working prior to swapping out the updated 2.0 kext.
