    << Solved >> Intelmausi 1.0.5 Not loading (GA-Z370N-WIFI w/O.C. 0.6.4 & BigSur)

OK... Here are my findings: Thanks to all for your suggestions. Now, we have a 'solution.' Tried all above suggestions with no effect. Sometimes an ethernet selection popped up. Sometimes it didn't. But, it never functioned properly. Was about ready to give up on the whole mess. So, I...

    << Solved >> Intelmausi 1.0.5 Not loading (GA-Z370N-WIFI w/O.C. 0.6.4 & BigSur)

Will try this later this evening... The 'kextstat' query returned the line... as.acidanthera.mieze.IntelMausi (1.0.4) C53F0812-C897-3747-8B35-32464A0A1EE7 <46 14 6 5 3 1> So, Mausi is definitely in there. Will try adding smalltree.

    << Solved >> Intelmausi 1.0.5 Not loading (GA-Z370N-WIFI w/O.C. 0.6.4 & BigSur)

Ok... Ready for a little weirdness? I gave up on the Ethernet for now. But, I copied my edited EFI over to my Big Sur installation USB. When I tested the USB stick (to see if it would actually boot the system). I selected my usual system volume. As expected, it booted just fine. The weirdness...

    << Solved >> Intelmausi 1.0.5 Not loading (GA-Z370N-WIFI w/O.C. 0.6.4 & BigSur)

I have tried deleting services and deleting the NetworkInterfaces.plist twice. The ethernet port never shows up and it is not a selection when I try to add a new service in Preferences. I just updated to OC 0.6.5 Release and reviewed my entire EFI... nothing. WiFi is working and, the absent...

The ethernet selection has never appeared in Network Preferences. I cannot add it the usual way. I will try deleting the network interfaces as suggested. See if that knocks something loose.

New Apple Silicon Macs for 2021: Redesigned iMac and a Mac Pro mini

My thoughts exactly. And, the current cost of a MacPro-actual - decently configured, is never going to make financial sense for my purposes. An intel MacPro refresh clocks us another four to six years of macOS.

    << Solved >> Intelmausi 1.0.5 Not loading (GA-Z370N-WIFI w/O.C. 0.6.4 & BigSur)

Thank you for confirming this. But, I am SO sorry. This problem is with the Z370N-WIFI motherboard indicated in the thread title. I should have been more specific in the body of my post. This board uses the intel I219 controller. The basic build profile is "SonOfZee" in my signature. Regarding...

    << Solved >> Intelmausi 1.0.5 Not loading (GA-Z370N-WIFI w/O.C. 0.6.4 & BigSur)

I have loaded the latest release of IntelMausi (1.0.5) in OC/kexts. Fresh saved snapshot of plist. Cleared NVRAM several times. Still cannot get IntelGbE to work. This board uses the I219 variants. But, no joy with any of the current IntelMausi kexts. Both GbE ports are enabled in BIOS. I seem...

SOLVED -> OC 0.6.5/Big Sir on GA Z370M-DS3H

The inelegant solution sometimes works best. I KNEW the plist was spot-on. I just KNEW my drivers, SSDTs and hardware were good. So, the inelegant solution was to clone a successful installation to an external SSD and try to boot it on the RevengeOfZee build... It worked without complaint. So...

SOLVED -> OC 0.6.5/Big Sir on GA Z370M-DS3H

Premature declaration of success on RevengeOfZee build. It didn't work out well and requires a redo. Boot stick successfully copied installer to NVME.. (I think), which is a Samsung 970 and a known-good drive that has run Mojave and Catalina. On reboot, I get ONE chance to select the Install...

    Clover NVRAM Boot Arguments Persist

In Clover, you need to press F1 to get to the menu and then F11 is the selection to reset NVRAM on that menu. Consequently, I have successfully, if unintentionally, duplicated your problem. One disk had Clover on it from a previous install. I erased the main volume (an NVME SSD) to install OC...

    Big Sur and disabling SIP

Thanks for the sanity check. Disabling sip from the terminal allows me to avoid the 'Unknown Developer' block. The terminal solution has always worked well. but, I get that there could be complications. I've never booted into recovery to disable/re-enable csr-utils. So, this was news to me. I...
