[Guide] Dell XPS 13 9360 on MacOS Sierra 10.12.x - LTS (Long-Term Support) Guide

The git commit history shows only two files were added: BootChimeDxe.efi (this is most likely where the file is) AudioDxe.efi I think if you are wanting to add your own sound file, you will have to recompile the EFI.

Seems like 18D109 has broken my touchpad. Thankfully I have a USB mouse lying around for this exact scenario! EDIT: All good now.

Yes, but the relevant part of the readme that confuses me is as follows: Doesn't that imply that if you use X86PlatformPlugin, the plist must also be modified?

I feel really stupid asking this, but how would I generate a CPUFriendDataProvider.kext for my CPU mentioned above? (i7-7560U) The plist files in the directory that CPUFriend asks for only go up to MacBookPro8,3. Is there something I'm missing?

Speaking of models, I've got one of the 9360s with an i7-7560U. Which model would be appropriate for this CPU?

Been following this guide & darkvoid's repo for a while now. My CPU temperatures usually stick around 60 deg C. Is this a cause for concern?

An update - Replaced DW1560 with another, and Bluetooth works. No physical damage to the "broken" card, so it must've been a defective one.

Update: Bluetooth does not show up in Ubuntu live USB, therefore card is bricked. Have another one on the way.

Good point! One of the connector cables was quite difficult to plug in. I’ll take it apart & report back.

I have run that before & after restart, no change. It is enabled in BIOS. I have WiFi, but no Bluetooth showing up. I used gen_debug to create that zip on the previous page. Are you able to tell me what is missing from it?

Yes, I have AirportBrcmFixup & the two kexts you mentioned in L/E. Still no bluetooth. EDIT: I have a DW1560 card in my 9360, which is supported.

I can't figure out why Bluetooth isn't working on my XPS13 9360. I've uploaded debug zip. Any help would be appreciated!

I ran into the same issue with audio & Bluetooth post-install. To solve the audio issue, the method I used was to clone darkvoid's repository & execute the XPS9360.sh script using the --patch-hda argument. Still haven't got Bluetooth working, unfortunately.

I assume the DVMT variables would be the same between the i7-7560U and i7-7500U models? I don't have Windows on my laptop, so I can't use the method described on these forums.
