Hi, I solved the problem by switching to GTX 670 - unfortunately. The GTX 670 is great (Gigabyte).

If it will work without the hassel of the 660 Ti, go for it!

IMHO, get a GTX 670 instead if you can afford the extra $90~$100!

What about 10.8.2? I think will not be different (my 5770 do the same, although I'm running single monitor). I know it's old card but looks like it fits my needs and would be a medium upgrade from my HD 5770. I got a huge frustration from my new GTX 660 Ti which makes me want to stay away from...

Could it be the Mobo? I mean the SAME card is used by me and @thelostswede, could it be the fact that I use older Mobo (GA-P55-USB3)? If I upgraded to Z77X-UD5H and i7-3770k, is this will make any difference - other than spending more $$ ;)?

Good luck! But IMHO go for the 670. The 600 TI gave me a great kick in ass.
