    Problem with Native Access

You are a star!!! I have been trying for almost 9 months to find a solution and this was it!! Same issue on AppleLPC I had a patch in my DSDT for LPC which defined the IOName property data type as an array (data) instead of string. Changed that and boom! I'm downloading my content from Native...

    Problem with Native Access

Yes it would be great to find the issue. I am running a Mac Pro 5,1 with no IGPU, both in hardware or software (dual x5680 CPUs) and have tried various flags and I think even different system definitions (iMac 19,1 or iMac pro 1,1). I have tried with and without WhateverGreen, injecting ATI...

    Problem with Native Access

I didn't get anywhere I'm afraid. Even contacted NI support and when they found out I was using a hackintosh, they stopped trying to help me straight away..

    Workstation for Sounddesign/Engineering

Hi mate, I built a hack system for a studio 8 months ago based on the same CPU and motherboard. It's very stable with that motherboard/CPU combo and has been performing great for audio ever since. SchmokLord's Github is a great starting point for you EFI and configs for this motherboard/CPU...

    Problem with Native Access

Lol no worries. I tried the GPU in different slots, took out the other pcie cards I have as well. No iGPU in my system with the Xeonn CPUs so nothing to disable there. I tried various configs with and without whatevergreen/lilu, various versions of clover, tried with and without injecting Ati...

    Problem with Native Access

True thanks. But my CPUs are Intel Xeonn and they are the same used in the official Mac Pro 5,1 (2010, 2012 cheese grater) which also has 2 CPUs. The issue seems to be the graphics card, but no clue why since it's working fine in every other software I'm using.

    Problem with Native Access

Thanks for the reply and I'm glad you figured it out, or at least found your issue. My problem is different though as I only have one GPU and no iGPU either (legacy HP Z800 dual CPU workstation). I'm also using Clover.

    Problem with Native Access

Hi, Native Access from Native Instruments is crashing when I try to launch it on my system. It's a Mac Pro 5,1 built, 2x3.33 x5680 CPUs, RX580 8GB Pulse Radeon graphics. I'm running Mojave 10.14.6 I think it could be due to graphics. as you can see from the below portion of the crashlog (esp...

    X58A-UD7+i7-920 and Mojave

No worries. I can't promise it will work as I don't have your card or have done this before. If your monitor is 1080p, it could be worth a shot as 1080p passive display port -> HDMI adaptors are pretty cheap. If your monitor is 4k or 1440p etc, you'll need an active display port -> HDMI...

    X58A-UD7+i7-920 and Mojave

DVI and HDMI are the problem for Boot to black screen with monitors connected to these ports. With Sapphire 580 cards at least, the Display ports are initialised first when osx loads and for some reason the HDMI and DVI are not working properly, so you need to patch the framebuffer to change...

    X58A-UD7+i7-920 and Mojave

Hey maoule, Not sure if you can boot from GSATA, but i have fixed my issues by inserting Sunki's patches for ICH10 (code below). It seems to work although it's for 10.13.. I have 3 soft raid 0 arrays in my system and before the patches, clover only recognised the array attached to GSATA ports...

    X58A-UD7+i7-920 and Mojave

Th Thanks again Maule. This didn't work for me. An update I have is that even if the nvme drives are not plugged in, if there are any drives plugged in the intel sata ports, clover crashes, if there are drives in the gigabyte ports, it works normally

    X58A-UD7+i7-920 and Mojave

Thanks maoule. I've tried it and it's not working for me. I've sorted out the performance issues and good news is that the Mojave installation is faster in benchmarks than the Mavericks one So my main issues now are: 1. I can't boot from the nvme drive although it's detected in the bios as...

    X58A-UD7+i7-920 and Mojave

@Going Bald yes sharing your EFI folder and in general your EFI partition would be great. I have the x58 UD7 rev 1.0 with F7 bios as well, but I'm having issues with Mojave. I'm installing it on a NVME Samsung 950 pro (with a PCIe -> M2 adaptor) and whilst the installation completes...
