Smooth update again but took a bit longer this time. Still the logon screen resolution for 4k has not been fixed. But hey, with the new macOS we may use the Windows login screen :banghead:

adding e1000=0 to boot-args shouldn't be needed for a i219-V Network adapter on your board You only need Intel_Mausi_kext from https://github.com/acidanthera/IntelMausi. Also Fake_PCIID shouldn't be needed. For Bluetooth I hope you are using a Fenvi card? The integrated Intel should be disabled...

    macOS 13.3 Update

Update went fine with OC Mod 0.9.1. But Ventura 13.3 still doesn't fix the Default Resolution bug for 4k screen which has appeared with 13.1.

I'm already on Ventura indeed. Just use OCAT (search for the guide on this forum) and upgrade to the latest OpenCore version before upgrade to Ventura.

Default resolution has changed with upgrade to Ventura 13.1

My version of Whatevergreen is 1.6.2, the latest, I use Headless mode for UHD 630 and don't use a special kext for my 5700 XT. I even have tested it with a 6600 XT and it makes no difference. As I stated earlier, it all happend after upgrade to 13.1. After reinstall to 13.0.1 the Default...

And after another reboot it was back. The solution would be using HDMI may be. Has DP oppotunities against HDMI? Also HDMI only will fall back to Full HD as Loginscreen. So still searching for a solution to have 3840 x 2160 as Default resolution back in Monitor settings.

Default resolution has changed with upgrade to Ventura 13.1

I have fixed it myself. Add a HDMI cable to your graphics card. Switch to it and set everything to expected resolution etc. Plug off the DP cable and switch the PC off. Start Computer with HDMI plugged in. Resolution was alright. Switch off PC. Disconnect HDMI and connect DP cable again. Turn on...

Default resolution has changed with upgrade to Ventura 13.1

Sadly when you press Select Default mode it does actually what it states. It will only select 1920x1080 as it is the Default set by OS .

Default resolution has changed with upgrade to Ventura 13.1

Since I did upgrade from Ventura 13.0.1 to macOS Ventura 13.1 the default resolution for my 4K monitor has changed to 1920x1080. Also my loginscreen after Boot is now x2 larger, like indeed Full HD. I have already reinstalled 13.0.1 and after that everything has been back to the usual 4k...

ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-PLUS WiFi D4 | Rocket Lake i7-11700K | AMD Radeon RX 580

I use both together. If use the Apple VT-d you should also use SSDT-DMAC and SSDT-DMAR in ACPI and drop the DMAR tables as @frontgear has described. B.t.w does someone else also has a lower resolution login screen since the update to 13.1?
