I just tested Skype in Win7 and it works fine, sound/video/microphone all working through the LED Cinema Display. You don't need a bluetooth dongle unless you want to use bluetooth, I only got one because I wanted to use my Magic Mouse.

I actually got my board from http://www.ebuyer.com, which didn't specify any version number so I had to buy and hope. It turned out to be a 1.3. I don't know if there's actually much difference between the 1.0 and 1.3 though.
