hope i'm posting in the right place, if not i'm sorry.
I'm trying to update from mountain lion to El Capitan. I've made the unibeast usb drive as per the instructions on this site but upon restart after installation of El Capitan the machine runs chimera instead of clover which of course...
sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I'm running 10.8.4 with an i3 and a gigabyte ga-z77-ds3h. Previously i had an epson stylus r380 connected and i managed to print successfully from it about a year ago. I tried to print from it about 2 days ago and my computer showed it as "offline"...
so periodically my hackintosh will freeze for no apparent reason forcing me to hold down the power button to reset it, this has only been happening since the 10.8.3 update. I also have an issue with embedded flash video playback. my version of flashplayer is up to date and hardware acceleration...
ls just got me "library.forward" i tried "diskutil list" and i see both my hard drive and the usb drive with the boot1h file on it

downloaded/installed the update and it doesn't fail anymore but now it seems to be hanging at "running package scripts"

I've tried redownloading mountain lion from the app store 3 times and I've switched to a second USB drive the installation error still persists.
