Updated this AM via the AppStore with no issues. 2x reboots before completion. Rebooted with "nvda_drv=0" boot flag, then ran nvidia-update.sh to update my Nvidia drivers. After another reboot everything is golden.

No worries! Funny enough the culprit was the card itself. Replaced it with a 1080 and the 3 GPU setup worked immediately. System has been 100% stable with a 4.5GhZ OC since then - though I've got some USB issues messing with my shutdown that I've been meaning to get around to fixing...
Nothing at the moment @beep. Granted I've really dug my heels in on cooling this build and I imagine that has something to do with. The biggest issue I have with the GA-170X-UD5 is the proximity of the second and third PCI lanes. While they support 3 cards, the bottom two slots are RIGHT on top...
I'm on a Z170X-UD5, non-TH board. Running BIOS F20. Just started the OC tweaks and am sitting pretty well with plenty of room to adjust. Current Geekbench:
Single Core: 5823
Multi Core: 21044
@thedocbwarren - saw you're not using SSDT injection. I generated a new Sierra SSDT using the...
Did you do a full install of all binaries (FakeSMC, CPUSensors, ACPISensors, etc.) or simply add the GPUSensors.kext to your existing FakeSMC/HWMonitor config?
Glad these are updated, but want to be 100% certain of the install before attempting. It took me way too long to get my Sierra 12.6...
Fresh Sierra install here.
Quick background - I used this identical hardware configuration up to 10.11.5 and had the same three discrete nVidia GPUs, alongside Intel HD 530 onboard graphics via DP@60hz for a year or so with little issue. Consistent work done in CUDA accelerated programs (Adobe...
Can confirm these drivers are working on 10.12.6, Z-170X-UD5 for GTX980 Ti FTX Gaming ACX 2.0+ and GTX 970 G1 Gaming, with the 970 G1 utilizing a Display Port output for boot/OSX. Acceleration works across CUDA programs, no artifacts noticed s far. Bios initial output is set to PCI (Gtx 970 G1)...
@sunnyj - Thanks for putting this together, has certainly helped for reference. I have very similar hardware and am currently struggling with the Graphics side of things, and I'm also working with a fresh install of 10.12.6 which may impact this as well.
I was curious - what BIOS version are...
Yeah - just got the boot fixed with KernalPM and PatchAPIC. Seeing the same as you, OSX has defaulted back to the default Graphics Drivers.
Curious if you're having Graphics issues though? I've got 2x970s (one is display for my ultrawide Samsung monitor via DisplayPort) and a 980ti. System...
I've got similar issues dantaco. I'm running the Z170X UD5 + i6700K i7 and was on BIOS F5, all things looking good in El Cap. I saw the F20 update and flashed hoping to fix some of the XMP and OC issues. Updated all my BIOS settings to what they were before and I've got no problems getting into...
Basically I'm an idiot and enabled FileVault and restarted my Hackintosh running Mountain Lion.
I've now got a Boot0 error and can't seem to fix it. Currently making a fresh bootable USB via UniBeast. Any suggestions on what actually happened her?
Hey all,
Had a fully functional install of Lion for a couple of years and finally decided to make the leap to Mavericks. Things are looking pretty great and have even seen some performance increases in some places, however one thing that's killing my workflow is that although my OWC Mercury...
Hey all.
Having some very odd issues with my build that I've never had before. Essentially, my internet does not always connect on boot and I'm forced to restart several times before the internet connects. Here are the specs from system profiler for my ethernet card (it's built in on my MB)...
