I understand for ease of troubleshooting that you would provide a base point of config to start with but correct me if I am wrong,
I have my patches in DSDT and a config that boots and gives me wifi and sound, and with yours I get neither, Is using your config a make or break as far as support...
Thanks for the quick reply. I have made some edits. I did ones like hpet and so on I saw mentioned by you in another thread, as well as wifi and battery. I didn't do anything for USB. Now I'm curious if I have missed anything major.
I have this asus k53e come into my hands, I was going to do a format and resell but couldn't get audio to work in windows 7 or 10.. so I tried HS.

Guys,
I just updated to 10.13.4 and I lost audio. When I run Toledo script it says "No audio codec detected" and I also cant get Nvidia web drivers to load.
I installed it in my m.2 slot and booted to recovery from my spinning disk. The reason for this is I was not going to do a fresh install on it just restore my current install over. It was immediately recognized with no kexts or patches on my GA-H270 board.

But by all means the ADATA seems like a good buy, trim support is enabled by...

Nice work, any particular reason you chose Mac Pro 5,1?? I have a 7400 and 1050ti and went with iMac 18,2 because it actually ships with a kaby lake processor. Does speed step work on your rig?
I got iMessage to work on my build by using the MLB and ROM fields under RtVariables and filling them with the variables from my REAL MacBook 5,1. The MLB is too short for a newer Mac and according to most guides this will result in a non working iMessage setup. But it worked for me, so its how...
I’m on the newest version. So puzzled as to why I’m having this issue. Should I use smbios details from my sandy bridge build? Will I loose functionality like speed step and night shift?
Hello tonymac!
I recently had some bad luck with my first build (was sandy bridge) and I had to pull the trigger on some new hardware.
For my new build I chose a smbios of 18,2 on clover configurator because it most closely matches my new machine.
I have gone through the iMessage for iDiots...
