I am also testing the Hynix Gold P31 1TB version in a laptop with Monterey, with the latest firmware version, and seems to be working perfectly fine so far. And for some strange reason, the performance is even better than Windows 11 and latest Ubuntu.

I agree. That was a slimy move by WD. But so far so good and hopefully stays that way.
The SN750 SE version works just fine with Monterey. No issues whatsoever.
In fact, I got the SE version by mistake thinking it was the older non-SE version. It didn't matter. Works great.
Buttons still not working. The track pad works with the latest VoodooI2C and proper I2C ssdt patches . Take a look at the-darkvoid/XPS9360-macOS github repo .
There's no need for ALCPlugfix nor modding CodecCommander. I got it working with layout ID 13 (AppleALC) and the ssd patch I just updated for CodecCommander.
It would be nice if somebody could figure out the proper layouts and pins for this machine. However the Realtek chip seems to be working OK with AppleALC(>= 1.3.3) and layout ID 13 (0x0D).

I believe that VGA is not being supported with macos . You might try using an adapter for this if there's no choice but I don't think it would work. Display port and HDMI are supported.
