Power Mac G4 Stormtrooper Case Mod

Slick build! Are you able to share the dimensions/and or your CAD model for that laser cut front panel? I am looking into doing something similar.

    MIRRORED: MDD G4 Conversion

I don't know if theres enough space behind that wall for the power supply to breathe. I measured and my plan was to have 2x140mm in the bottom and I've mocked up a 120mm rad mount with a duct to draw air from the angled mesh front. Theres not enough room for a decent air cooler on the CPU, so I...

    MIRRORED: MDD G4 Conversion

Yeah, I really want to keep with the spirit of the G4. I've switched back to the door idea, but its only big enough for mATX. I've been eyeing a Sabertooth P67 recently though. Clearance is tight!

    MIRRORED: MDD G4 Conversion

I've been putting this off for a while. Still unsure how I wanted to mount the motherboard. I like the idea of having the motherboard mounted on the door, but it introduces a lot of problems. I've been fooling around in CAD trying to figure it out. I've been considering serious cooling since...

    MIRRORED: MDD G4 Conversion

Tell me about it! I'm planning on removing the I/O portion of the back panel and making a new plate. My only problem is that I either have to canabalize a PCI bracket/IO panel from an old case or find a way to make one. I have access to tools (mills, brakes drill press etc) but no CNC stuff so...

    MIRRORED: MDD G4 Conversion

Hey all! Long time lurker. I recently managed to snag a MDD G4 that I am planning on transplanting my old build into. I am planning on mimicking minihack's wonderful MBD G4 mod at least for the back panel. My vision for this mod: Original Exterior (no paint) Completely overhauled interior -...

    Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3+EVGA GTX6502GB (100% working DSDT FREE)

Awesome! Did you use this guide to flash your BIOS to UEFI? Thinking about upgrading to your patched U1b using that mentioned method but I am worried about bricking my board.

GUIDE: GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 UEFI BIOS - ALL WORKING, DSDT not required!

Hey all! I've been wanting to upgrade my board to the new UEFI (on F9 right now) for a while, but still hesitant I can't afford to brick my board . Few questions [Noob]: 1. Is BIOS U1C stable in 10.9.1 on rev 1.3? 2. Is it that risky to flash a new BIOS (using mac method) 3. If I have a...

    OS X 10.8.3 Update

Article: OS X 10.8.3 Update Did you ever manage to sort out what happened? I have the same board and cpu, but I'm using a GTX 650. Not sure if I should take the leap or stay safe.

Chimera 2.0 Now Available with iMessage Login Fix

Downloaded Chimera 2.0.1 and installed on my SSD. Rebooted fine but I get the error when I try logging into iMessage: "Your Apple ID "********" can't be used to set up iMessage at this time. If this is a new Apple ID, you do not need to create another one. To use this Apple ID with iMessage...

hey im a new bulder and im thincking of bulding a hackintosh

You shouldn't have too much trouble I should think if you're using the GT640 only. Whats stopping you from getting a 3570K and HD4000? The GT 640 isn't that great considering you're paying $100 for the card when the 3570K is just a little more.

Help with my first Hackintosh build

I just completed a build using that B75M board and an i3 3225 and I can say it works pretty good. Maybe change your RAM from 1x8GB to 2x4GB as dual channel is slightly faster and you can probably get it for cheaper.
