Do you own a real Mac?

I still have my original first Mac a 2003 Power Mac G5 that I’d like to Hackintosh, a 2009 Mac Mini, a 1999 iMac, a 2011 15” MacBook Pro, a 2017 12.9” iPad Pro and a 2008 Xserve. Needless to say, I’m pretty integrated into the ecosystem. Everything is stock except for the MacBook Pro that has a...

Do you own a real Mac?

I own a 2017 12.9 IPad Pro with the latest os, A late 2011 15’ MacBook Pro with High Sierra, a 2009 Mac Mini with El Capitan, and a 2003 or so PowerMac G5 that I want to Hackintosh. I use everything but the G5 pretty regularly with the iPad and MacBook Pro getting daily use.

    Hakintosh or Macintosh?

That said, what happens if there is a big flaw in your brand new multi thousand dollar computer that makes you not able to turn on or get work done regardless of the warrantee? Either way you could be out money how much is up...

    Hakintosh or Macintosh?

I’m aware I’m resurrecting a fairly dead thread but I thought I’d weigh in on the Mac vs. Hackintosh question. I’ve been an exclusively Mac user since the “cheese grater” 2003 or so PowerMac G5. I am in college for my Batchellors in Art which is a field that from what I have been told is still...

What Will Apple Unveil at WWDC 2018 Keynote?

I’d like to see something from them, that makes me not think that I could do better for less money. I would like the option to get rid of Apple specific (iMessage etc... ) programs I don't use. I don't want a bloated OS with unused programs that runs like crap.

Hi, This video is a tear down of the 2011 15” MacBook Pro which one part highlights the WiFi module and where it is.

    Name the Next macOS (10.14)

High Sierra X.. maybe try the cities next? There’s a lot of bloatware on OSX now. I upgraded my Mac Mini from Snow Leopard to El Capitan and it runs but I’d like the option to shut off or cut out the stuff I don’t use.
