Hmm, that is strange because mine was enabled in the BIOS and in energy saver preferences and it was able to sleep. I will need to investigate further.
Hmm, so the machine was able to sleep but I am unable to wake from lan. I am guessing this fix must have disabled that. I will need to test this by reverting the changes. I have already updated to 10.10.2 so hoping that resolves the sleep issue with wake on lan enabled.
That's great to hear. I wonder what they actually changed to fix this. On the support site they mention the following fixes:
"This update includes the following improvements:
Resolves an issue that might cause Wi-Fi to disconnect
Resolves an issue that might cause web pages to load slowly...

Here are the files posted from that thread that include instructions to fix this. My hack finally slept...

I was able to get the audio to be persistent with the attached script. Unzip the command and run it with the sudo command from the terminal and you should be good to go. This comes directly the Toleda Realtek GIT repo (https://github.com/toleda/audio_RealtekALC). Hope this helps.
Just to add to your install guide which worked like a champ now hopefully my machine will hibernate correctly(We will see tonight since it was waking up every two hours before). If you are like me and want a high resolution boot loader you can 1) add the "CsmVideoDxe-64.efi" file into the...
I have the same motherboard as well and am using OsxAptioFix2.efi with Clover v2999 but still having the sleep issue so am guessing it's something else. I am hesitant to upgrade the version of Clover since I have spent so much damn time messing with this and have a fully functional system...
This change helped my computer sleep but I also had to revert the changes since unfortunately a few really nice features rely on multicast including AirPlay, Wireless sync for iPhones/iPads and AppleTV to computer communications. If you don’t care about these then you are ok but would not...
