[Guide] Dell XPS 9560 Mojave VirtualSMC, I2C Trackpad, Clover UEFI Hotpatch

Hey, I tried booting into safe mode and got stuck with similar results. I was able to log in using single-user mode, but didn't want to go in and delete anything via terminal because I still might need the update files if they're there. One interesting thing I saw was that when going to boot...

I tried updating to 10.14.2 and now i can’t boot. Installed update from system preferences, rebooted, it booted into install macOS drive, where it says installer resources couldnt be found, choose which drive to boot from, I choose my macOS partition, reboots into clover, I choose macOS instead...

[Guide] Dell XPS 9560 Mojave VirtualSMC, I2C Trackpad, Clover UEFI Hotpatch

Hey, that worked for fixing the tilde key, thanks. However, my brightness and volume keys still don't work. Any idea how to go about fixing this? EDIT: Restarted after changing to ISO...somehow was fixed, I was messing with Karabiner elements, but it's completely disabled now. Everything seems...

[Guide] Dell XPS 9560 Mojave VirtualSMC, I2C Trackpad, Clover UEFI Hotpatch

Hi, I have everything almost working correctly, just have a quick question: The tilde key (`) on the keyboard isn’t working correctly. It is typing to “§” instead. I remapped it using Karibiner Elements but using that causes my caps lock LED to be stuck once turned on. Is there any native...

I was able to repair the volume using DiskWarrior. I guess I screwed something up and the volume got corrupted. Thanks for the help anyway!

    Can't boot XPS 15 9560

Have been trying to mess with the system to get it to work. I have hit a wall and don't know what to do. I was able to get in using single-user mode and removed the kexts from /L/E and rebuilt kextcache that I had added in case that was the issue, which made a few of the warnings go away...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 15 9560 - High Sierra 10.13.2

Hi, I tried to boot my MacOS Partition today after a few days and wasn't able to. I remember moving some kexts to the system itself, rather than having them loaded through clover and then repairing permissions and rebuilding kext cache. I'm not sure if that could've caused the issue or...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 15 9560: 4K Touch, 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM, 100% AdobeRGB

Are there any benefits to APFS? I'll probably end up avoiding it to stay safe, but out of curiosity...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 15 9560: 4K Touch, 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM, 100% AdobeRGB

That's good news. Also, I understand that High Sierra comes with a new APFS format. That will only change it on my macOS partition, then, correct?

    [Guide] Dell XPS 15 9560: 4K Touch, 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM, 100% AdobeRGB

Hi everyone, I've been on Sierra with most things working for a while but I'm thinking of making the upgrade to High Sierra now. I saw the other guide explaining how to do a fresh install and it says the whole drive must be available with no partitions. Is there any way to upgrade without...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 15 9560: 4K Touch, 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM, 100% AdobeRGB

Is there an alternative method for Samsung NVME SSD's or will it simply not work? Thanks for the great guide! Edit: Been doing some research, do I simply apply Pike's Patch?
