    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    Yeah exactly, you can follow the guide and read more on that on a previous page in this thread. Here are the kexts and drivers that I use (config.plist is attached as well): I still have to map out the USB ports to be able to remove the USB limit extender and I also still wait for my...

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    I have a similar issue the day after upgrading to 10.14.2 (And I'm sure it worked just fine yesterday). The only way I got it to work for now is to disable IGPU via the BIOS. @blouse Are your BIOS settings still the same as those written on the first page? I tried the MacMini8,1 SMBIOS but...

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    I've tried to add EmuVariableUefi-64.efi but that caused my system to no longer boot at all. I'll have a look at your config options later when I have more time - Thanks!

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    Hi @blouse, Awesome build you got there. You were a great inspiration for my build which is also turning out very powerful (I have the Z390 Aorus Pro and the i9-9900K as well). Unfortunately I'm having issues with sleep/shutdown (Hackintosh crashes during sleep and reboots when I shutdown). Did...

    AMD graphics brands?

    I swapped out the Z390 Aorus Pro WIFI for a regular Z390 Aorus Pro last minute after reading this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/gigabyte-z390-aorus-pro-wifi-cannot-get-installer-to-boot.264908 - Waiting for my parts to arrive now. Maybe this is helpful for you as well.

    LG UltraFine 5K Build

    Hey all! I'm interested in making a LG UltraFine 5K build as well as I have yet to find a display that wow's me that much. That said, it seems like the success stories revolve around the GC-Alpine Ridge for now which is the only device that has two display port input signals. With the new Z390...

    What was your primary reason for building a hackintosh?

    I decided to build a Hackintosh 2 1/2 years ago since I wanted to play the occasional games here and there which the MacBook couldn't give me. I also enjoy the tinkering here and there. So far it's been a blessing! I also have the newest gen MBP (the TouchBar model) and my Hackintosh is still...

    Workstation i7-4930K - GTX980 - ASUS SABERTOOTH X79 Davinci Resolve - Premiere Workflow

    My GTX 970 is not that huge and has enough space left. I guess it depends on the graphics card size! You can remove the tray like this: Do you already know what GTX 980 you want to buy? The official website says: "Graphics cards up to 310 mm in length with the top HDD cage installed; with the...

    Buying Advice for first Hackinstosh...

    There is a subforum here where they go into detail about Mac Pro Casemodding :thumbup: When the R9 280 runs fine with your current OSX setup, why shouldn't it run fine with a new one? :D I can't really tell something about the performance though. You could run Geekbench and compare it to...

    Workstation i7-4930K - GTX980 - ASUS SABERTOOTH X79 Davinci Resolve - Premiere Workflow

    According to Asus, this Motherboard supports 2x PCIe x16 for your graphics card! Have the Define R5 myself... it is so huge you can almost build a second PC in it. :D (But it looks very sleek and is very silent :thumbup:) The motherboard has quad channel support so going with 4 RAM slots will...

    OS X 10.10.2 Update

    Updating my rig was straight forward. Downloaded the update through App Store and rebooted using my USB Stick (this one has nv_disable=1). Now I downloaded the new NVIDIA Drivers, install, reboot, done! Sound also still works. :headbang: Trim Enabler has told me to enable the TRIM patch again...

    is my build ok??? pleaseadviser our adviser...

    What's your budget for the graphics card? I have a GTX 970 and it's super fast :headbang: Your build looks like mine and mine is running very fine :thumbup: If you want to overclock in the future you might consider another motherboard (and CPU cooler).

    Need advices for build mb 9 series

    This motherboard supports quad channel support so 4x4GB are better performing and the board has 8 slots so there is still room to upgrade. @Joto you might want to look into X99 setup guides here because they are not natively supported yet. Just so you know what work is involved.

    Hackintosh Virgin.

    X99 chipsets require more expensive DDR4 RAM afaik.
