    UHD630 frequency stuck at minimum

Well there's at least one mistake in there that is preventing my UHD630 from running at 1.2GHz. I welcome any assistance you can provide but if all you're going to do is reply and say "there are no mistakes," please just let other people try to help.

    UHD630 frequency stuck at minimum

Okay, so it's not that I have one value that's clearly wrong, it's that there's a combination of things that are causing MacOS to make a decision internally to set the UHD630 clock frequency to 330 or 350MHz? Now that I look, I may have made a mistake picking iMac19,1 as the i7-8700 wasn't used...

    UHD630 frequency stuck at minimum

I recently upgraded my Z370-based Hack (ASUS ROG Z370-G mobo, i7-8700K, Sapphire RX580) from Clover to OpenCore, and from Catalina to Monterey. It's perfect, except for one little thing that's got me puzzled. I do a lot of work in Final Cut Pro, and under Clover I was using iMac18,1 (because...

I am using iMac19,1 and my IGPU is enabled in BIOS. Are you saying an iGPU clock speed of 330MHz under load is normal?

Hi @pastrychef, I'm running this build (with an RX580 and an i7-8770K) on Monterey and it's working well. I do a lot of Final Cut Pro X stuff though, and Apple makes it difficult to see if things are running correctly (FCPX often doesn't max out real Mac hardware on exports). When I upgraded to...

@pastrychef I downloaded OpenCore Configurator and GenSMBIOS, got myself a new serial/MLB/UUID/ROM, plugged them in, and booted back into Catalina to make sure it worked; it did and I made sure I could sign into iCloud and get into iMessage and all that. The only weird thing I ran into was that...

I knew it was something simple! Thank you. It found my partitions and booted right up. I must have entered something incorrectly into config.plist because it did make me sign into iCloud again and my other devices popped up a notification that I had just "signed in to a new Mac," and iMessage...

Hello @pastrychef, I've been running this Golden Build of yours since 2018 with a Radeon RX580. For a couple years now it's been happily on 10.15.7 but I thought I'd try to upgrade it to Big Sur or Monterey now. It seems that Catalina was the last MacOS where TonyMac made a UniBeast, and is...

Dumb me, it was circle-slashing because I forgot to change back to iMac18,3. Now it is seeing the iGPU (I have iStat Menus installed and it shows it to me in one of the widgets alongside the 580). iGPU now shows in IORegistryExplorer, my screen now looks like yours. Renders appear to be faster...

That causes a cpu panic immediately upon starting Compressor. I did some digging and I discovered I may have accidentally disabled "iGPU Multi-Monitor Mode" in the BIOS yesterday. That is probably why your original v5 wasn't working. I tried to put the v5 EFI config.plist back in but I get a...

Unless I screwed something up, I am trying to run your latest EFI, unmodified, on 10.14.4. Sorry for all the confusion.

After some research on my part, I realize what I'm asking is: What do I do to set the IGPU to headless mode? I'm experiencing slowness in Compressor. I am testing with a project that usually takes about 10 minutes to render. It's going on an hour now and the Remaining Time is very inaccurate...

I downloaded it but I'm having trouble finding it. I found something called "IGPU@200000," is that it? My MBP (on 10.13.6), in "About this Mac," says: Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB EDIT: I see now you said "on real iMacs," not "on real Macs."
