Enable the PanicNoKextDump patch in config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches or in Clover menu -> Options -> Binaries patching, and post a photo of the kernel panic again. A copy of your Clover folder would also be useful.
Yes! You were right! I disabled my patched DSDT.aml and the rename patches are now working. However, I need to find a way to apply these patches in OC without using a patched DSDT.aml, since ACPI device renaming doesn't work in OC with it. What is the best way to do that? I know I can inject the...
They actually do. If I boot using Clover, I can see the rename patches take place in the DSDT if I open a new DSDT file directly from ACPI, not by opening the DSDT.aml from OC/ACPI which is static. Anyway, here is a screenshot of ioreg showing EHC1 not being renamed to EH01.
I also think that AirportBrcmFixup.kext takes care of renaming PXSX to ARPT. But I really need to rename EHC1 to EH01 and none of my ACPI device rename patches work. I really can't figure this one out. Is there something I need to set in OemTableID?
Do you know why this error occurs if I enable VoodooPS2Controller.kext and its plugins in the config.plist?
Dependency com.apple.iokit.IOHIDSystem fallback to com.apple.iokit.IOHIDSystem succeeded. Please fix your kext!
Also, I noticed that ACPI patches do not work. For example the "change PXSX...
Hi. I managed to successfully boot using OC, but I have a few issues:
1. CPU power management is not working properly. X86PlatformPlugin is not present in the ioreg.
2. USB configuration is not correct. (SSDT-UIAC.aml not loading?)
3. Backlight control is not working. No brightness slider in Sys...
So do I need to remove all UEFI drivers except for HFSPlus.efi and OpenRuntime.efi? Your OC folder also has FwRuntimeServices.efi. Is that needed also? macOS is already install but I can only boot using Clover.
Apparently I already had CleanNvram.efi in the Tools folder. I just had to enable it in the config.plist. I did so and I cleared the NVRAM successfully. However, I'm still facing the same problem as in post #5. Is there a way I can use AptioMemoryFix.efi with OC?
OK so I corrected my mistakes on the PS2 kexts but I still can't boot. I either get this memory mapping error (see pic) or just an instant reboot right after the kernel loads (after "End RandomSeed"). No kernel panic. Any ideas?
