Hi. The motherboard im getting for my hackintosh doesn't have wifi or bluetooth built in it. I was wondering if there was a wifi card that has Bluetooth built into it that is compatible with hackintosh? I'm looking for something that I can plug into the last PCIe slot on the motherboard.
Hi. I can't tell if my motherboard supports ECC memory or non-ECC memory. From my prospective it supports both. Please someone tell me if im looking at this correctly.
I plan to using it for personal stuff. I do a lot of gaming on my computer and video rending once in a while. My backup motherboard was going to be ASUS P9X79-E WS because I have been told it is compatible. My main goal of using the X99 motherboard was to use intels new Xeon 18 core processor on...
I plan to use a silent case and I plan to only use Noctua fans in my case for super quiet performance. I plan to leave the computer on 24/7 so fans the running nonstop is fine with me. I don't think Gigabyte is going to be releasing any new software any time soon. Is using a Hackintosh on an X99...
So I have to find ram that is non-Ecc for my motherboard. Should I look for a specific brand of ram or does it not matter?
I have also been thinking of getting fans for my ram. Would that help my computer in any way or would that be a big mistake to buy?
Normally I manually put the computer to sleep with the help off hot corner. Are you Saying that I wont be able to do that anymore or that the computer is going to be pulling the max amount of power that it can 24/7?
I remember reading an article on the internet saying hackintosh is compatible with X79 boards and not X99 boards I might be remembering that backwards so I want to be safe than sorry.
I'm using a Xeon cpu so I thought It would be a good idea to use server memory for my hackintosh. I'm using a motherboard that supports DDR4 memory. I found server DDR4 memory and was wondering if server memory can be used on a desktop motherboard?
Should I make a hackintosh using a server motherboard or normal motherboard? Will it make a difference? All I want is to make a computer that will last a long time and can support major gaming and video rendering.
