How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I use kgp’s SSDT in order to have a complete PCI device implementation, but I had to modify the WiFi part cause he uses a different slot. See my post #9471 for the code! (How I make links to certain posts clickable?) Benefits are a working second LAN port, e.g. Some things in the SSDT might be...

Oh, that's interesting, did I overlook that? Which USB device on which port does work without sleep/wake ejection? For test purposes I bought a SanDisk USB 3.1 (I think...) Type C pendrive, but it was ejected the same way as all other devices when it was plugged into the rear USB-C port of the...

Thanks for all your answers. With my real Mac (MBP) I never had this issue so I can't test it there. The USB hard drives were from Seagate, also tested pen drives by SanDisk and others. So far all behave the same. Will have a look into Mountain, thanks. Thanks for your kext and uploads...

Experimenting more concerning USB eject after wake from sleep issue: Yes, I did now extensive tests - even excluded all internal drives from Spotlight indexing - and unfortunately it never prevented the uncorrect ejection. Thanks, @Ellybz for posting this. It worked when I am running only...

@kgp Did you try out if izo1's workaround working on your system? So far I didn't have success, but I will check again. I could post the 8-core code snippet tomorrow.

@izo1 , my brown twin mate, suggested to exclude the USB drives in SPOtlights privacy tab in system preferences in order to prevent indexing or so. Unfortunately this didnt work for me. Does it work for you? In other forums I found some people saying that disabling BIOS Setting ´Internal CPU...
