I have same problems , not only from App Store but also from any website...

Perhaps it is caused by read/write permission of Catalina being different from Mojave's .

problem resolved ! I fellowed this thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/macos-10-15-catalina-is-now-available-on-the-mac-app-store.284169/page-21 #206 download latest Lilu and AppleALC, put them to /L/S directory and then rebuild kernel cache , after reboot the sound came back . :)

Everything works fine from upgrading except audio driver broken. I tried to reset it via multibeast Mojave but failed.

I followed top guides to set my audio driver (ALC892) and it worked on Mojave very smooth , but after upgrade to 10.15 , it does not work at all. anyone get this problem ? and how to fix it out ? thanks

I have this problem also , my display is working in 24-bit color mode instead of 32-bit on High Sierra

i just updated to 10.12.5 from 10.12.4, my def is mac mini 7,1 , gtx 670 , intel e3-1230 v2 (without GPU core) the screen turned to black at login GUI, but i can ssh and remote to it. i actually used native nv driver on 10.12.4 and it worked flawlessly, i've installed nv web driver after updated...
