So I used El Capitan on my hackintosh since it came out. I thought I had written a guide for myself for exactly what steps I took to get it up and running, but I can't find that so I'm essentially starting from scratch (my current hackintosh build is acting really buggy so I'm going to start a...

I tried the 892 because 898 solution didn't work on my 898 system.
I posted the answer to 1, 2, 3 (my kext version is 2.4.7 I assumed that since I installed it from Multibeast 5.5 as I mentioned I would have the same kext as everyone else who installed from Multibeast 5.5), 4, as for 6 I don't...
I get no audio after updating to 10.8.4
I read through the troubleshooting guide but didn't find anything that helped me.
I have deleted and reinstalled both the appleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler1.kext and reinstalled using Multibeast 5.5 using both ALC898 and ALC892. No luck. I've had a devil of a...
This same thing has happened to me. I made a fresh 10.8.5 installer with the latest Unibeast but after I install and the computer restarts it hangs at the white Apple screen with a spinning wheel.
Any ideas how to get it to install correctly?
Well that's very strange then. Because as I mentioned in my original post I have installed the nvidia drivers but dual monitors still don't work. Bummer.
Did you do anything speficically to make it faster? I built a very similar system except I have the 660 TI and the i5 3570K. But my Geekbench score was only 9820 or something like that. Thats a pretty big difference. Would you really get that much of a boost by using an i7 processor and a 670...
Here's a question, but maybe you can't answer it since it seems to differ from everyone else's experience with the 660 TI. Dual monitors aren't working natively for me like they seem to be for everyone else.

Ok. So this is as far as it gets and it just hangs here.
I've watched some of the videos on troubleshooting kernal panics and have sort of taken my troubleshooting skills as far as they can go. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Ok. One more question for you.
I have installed Mountain Lion.
I run multibeast, but since I don't want to install a ton of kexts and risk a kernal panic, I thought I'd just do them one at a time. So I just want to be able to boot to my drive without the USB stick so the only thing I installed...
