Reply from myself from the future:
Deselect Inject Intel and Inject ATI, Use MultiBeast to enable "Core Graphics Fixup AKA WhateverGreen" and change definition from iMac18,3 to iMac19,2 and for this reason use 0x3E9B0007 as ig-plateform-id
@trs96 As you are so friendly and helpful (many thanks again) I ask to you another thing to you regarding Graphics. My situation is this:
Inject Intel is right for today standards?
And for ig-plateform-id should I use 0x59120000 or 0x59120003 (I have the 8700K and a RX580 as a iMac18,3)...
@trs96 the reason why I had Inject ATI enabled was to follow the installation guide (this one) which is my exact system, now I remember.
It says:
But maybe this is not relevant with WhateverGreen... right?
I have read it, instead! But my concern was that in the meantime it could install something other than a kext or modify some config parameters. I wanted only to be sure of it! Thanks again!
So the only thing I should do to follow this:
is to disable "Inject ATI" with Clover Configurator or directly from the config file?
The transition from FakeSMC to Virtual SMC is not required for this, right?
1) So your advice is to run MultiBeast and use "Core Graphics Fixup AKA WhateverGreen" enabled and "Inject ATI"?
2) And what about the FakeSMC? Should I select VirtualSMC in MultiBeast and then remove FakeSMC from the kext folders and then recache?
Because I was following this guide to solve a crash of Final Cut Pro with both RX580 and iGPU enabled. In that guide it says:
But in my Multibeast install I have "Inject ATI" enabled and not "Core Graphics Fixup AKA WhateverGreen"
So I thought to install again with Multibeast changing changing...
@trs96 thanks, I have read it and also posted on it. During the update from Mojave to Catalina instead of using MultiBeast 12 I have updated the kexts and then I have moved them to the /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other and then I have kextcache. Should I use MultiBeast anyway? And in this case...
Hi, I have installed Mojave in my system using the latest version of MultiBeast for the time. I upgraded to Catalina and now upgraded MultiBeast to version 12.1.0-2 (the latest one for now).
Loading the .mb file I get this message:
The following packages are no longer available in this version...
@mochemenagen As many users followed your advice and solved the problem I would like to clarify the process before doing it.
Doing the system I followed this guide and I used, as suggested, Customize > Graphips > Inject ATI. For this reason now in my config file I have this situation:
Should I...
I'm going to update macOS 10.14.3 to 10.15.4 and, as suggested I have to move my 3rd party kexts from from /Library/Extensions to /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other
In my /Library/Extensions folder I have the following kexts:
Green: kexts found in the default macOS Catalina...
