    Issues after switching to GPU

Don't know why this got moved to Post Installation considering it froze in the BIOS and had nothing to do with the OS, but it was because the GPU itself was overheating.

    Issues after switching to GPU

Last week my iGPU crapped out on me & would constantly glitch/lock up, so I picked up a MSI Radeon RX 580. I'm currently using a Gigabyte H170N-wifi with a Core i5-6500, 16GB Ram, and a 600W PSU. After I switched I just booted into my BIOS to change it to the GPU rather than IGFX. Booted into...

Radeon Compatibility Guide - ATI/AMD Graphics Cards

Picked up a MSI RX 580. My system ends up completely freezing after a random amount of time. EFI/Kexts has the latest lilu & WEG. To the best of my knowledge Windows boot does not freeze up. Any thoughts?

Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

Just upgraded to 10.14.5 and I'm still unable to use my second display. Lilu is the latest, WEG is the latest. AGDPfix.app still not doing its thing :(

Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

Nope. Still only have the one monitor working. Haven't had much time to mess around with it. As far as the version, are you referring to OSX? If so then I'm running 10.14.2.

Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

Just came across this topic while searching for the fix to a black screen. When starting up Clover displays on two screens, but once it gets to the login screen the second "turns off". System Preferences displays two monitors as being available & when screen sharing the second one shows up. Im...

UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

Success! That went a hell of a lot better than the last time I tried. All that's left to fix is audio

UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

Alright. Imma give 10.14.2 a shot. I had been following the El Capitan on Skylake H170N guide making adjustments as needed a few weeks ago & was having all sorts of problems.

UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

With 10.14.2 being released, should I attempt an install of that? Or go with a 10.14/10.14.1?

[Guide] El Capitan on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

Which defaults to 10.14.1 I understand completely that the community is helpful, and I appreciate it. I'm just saying that I've gone over my bios a dozen times, tried different USB ports, different usb thumb drives. I've only been able to get to the Installer portion once, and my machine...

[Guide] El Capitan on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

Direct from the store. I've always had issues finding earlier versions once an update gets released. Even their Downloads page defaults to the .1 I do have a real mac.

[Guide] El Capitan on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

I'm pretty sure I'm an idiot. I thought I was grabbing 10.14.0. Apparently it was 10.14.1. Now to find where I can grab an official copy

[Guide] El Capitan on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

Might have to just hold off on this until the weekend. Still not able to get past the progress bar/loading screen :banghead: Welp. The third USB stick did the trick. Lol. Installing Mojave.

[Guide] El Capitan on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

This is a head scratcher. Updated my bios to the f22e, double checked to make sure settings in the first post stuck, and corrected them if they didn't. Remade my USB stick using UniBeast 9.x, dumped the USBInject into 10.10, 10.11, & 10.14 & swapped the config.plist. Booted into clover...

[Guide] El Capitan on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

I am using a different USB stick than when I originally set it up using the guide on the first page, but it is a 2.0 stick. I'll give it a shot using my other stick. Did you happen to make any changes to the BIOS or anything like that? Mine is running F4
