I got to the install and now going through multibeast yay!
Just can't seem to find an audio driver for C-Media 6632A
boot args if anyone asks.
-v dart=0 -x nv_disable=1 cpus=1 npci=0x2000
Everyone knows the pascal gpu's probably will not be supported, however I've been trying to install el capitan for the last few hours without luck...
I generally get cannot allocate xxxx type 2
boot failed wait 10 seconds.
or if I just run it the meter will stop and we get the dreaded stop...
These are cheap for a reason, the build is horrible, you do get an IPS at 2560x1440 but the build quality sucks and if you're buying an IPS anyway these are not worth it. Asus makes pretty good IPS screens but I'd go with Eizo, Dell, or Nec if you're serious about graphics and resolution. For...

I'm looking to patch the dual gpu...
Personally, why are they not using thunderbolt on lga2011 and sever boards? It makes much more sense for pro audio and surprised thunderbolts not included in a gpa as it also works as a mini dp.
Board looks nice, I guess it comes down to for me if I need six cores and 64gb of ram...
Use a USB powered dac, the asus USB dacs are known to work but it's a $500 purchase.
I'm not worried about audio, and sadly external cards is the best way to go as most don't even need the drivers as they're plug and play and all work in OS X.
I'm pretty much doing the same as you but may drop...
