Hi,
my beloved Hackintosh still runs on macOS Catalina Version 10.15.2 (19C57). If I start the Monterey update via System Preferences the download of Monterey (12GB) runs fine. I then get the install pop up window. I click continue, choose my drive (i have only one) and run the update. After the...
On this particular drive I have some other data on it.
I found the problem yesterday. The new Android Studio update 4.2.2 came with a new Gradle update. Gradle has a hidden folder in my users root folder called .gradle. Time Machine thinks that this folder is 13,24 TB large which leads to the...
Hi, all of a sudden my time machine backups fail because of a disk space problem. I then removed the drive from time machine and erased the drive. Then I added the empty drive to time machine again as it was before.
The problem is that the backup fails with the message below. My hackintosh has...

As a solution I copied all files that I needed off my Windows SSD and then reinstalled Windows completely. As mentioned above I disconnected my Mac OS Drive for safety. Everything works well now.
Thanks for the big help to everyone here!!! I'll have a drink on you...
I created a bootable Windows 10 USB Stick and tried the repair function. The system then says it cannot repair anything :(
At the moment I have 2 SSDs. One with Mac OS and one with this broken Windows. Instead of repairing the windows SSD I could also reinstall it, right? Or is it easier to...
@UtterDisbelief Not sure if it helps but in Mac OS I can see the content of my windows drive. Could the data be on the drive somewhere? Or could I somehow rename the drive there and enable the owner?
@UtterDisbelief I used the EFI Mounter v3.1 and mounted all disks but there is no "Microsoft" folder. Not in the root folder nor in one of the subfolders. Is it possible to get this folder from someone in the forum or does that technically not work?
@trs96 Thanks for the info but I cannot boot Windows. I can only boot Mac OS. The point where I can start the command line tool is not reachable for me at the moment.
@UtterDisbelief A very good suggestion indeed. I can see the Windows Partition in the BIOS. I selected it but then UEFI booted...
Hi,
I recently updated my Hackintosh from El Capitan to Catalina. Mac OS runs fine but my partition of Windows is not bootable anymore.
I have Windows installed on a separate SD (Samsung Evo). I can still see the partition i.e. in Disk Utility (see the screenshot). The partition lost its name...
No I understood how to use the Configurator. For the boot theme I only changed stuff in the theme editor. Now I found out I have to actually set the desired theme in the GUI section.
I also managed to check the FixShutdown flag but it does not help. Every time I (try to) shut down the computer...
I'm not sure if I'm doing this the right way as it seems my changes have no effect. Can it be that I manipulate the wrong config.plist file?
- I open the Clover Configurator App
- I mount the EFI folder of my Hackintosh Catalina Partition
- I change something like the checkmark on the...
