I am also looking to move away from my iMac 13,2 definition which has worked wonderfully up till now. Any hint on what I should try with my older system?
I had the same issue but there are comments suggesting you drop MATS tables in clover (I have an older motherboard). This worked a champ for my situation and install went through! Worth a try
Do it in the Clover Configurator OR
Just put this manually in config.plist
<key>DropTables</key>...
Thanks BreBo!!! Once I typed your suggestion right[took a few tries] ( just booted into Single User Mode, Mounted EFI partion, Used VI to edit the file) it booted just perfectly!!
First time I did not update Clover before install of a patch. Lesson Learned! Was even telling my wife it...
The above got me going, Thanks for the help! First update that caused me a problem in a long while. Despite the problem I love the community help to get it back and going!
Exact Same Behavior here. Glad I found this post and went back to 2.0.1 and facetime works again!
EDIT - Guess i should add more details on my system
Video Card GT 640
iMac12,2
GA-Z77X-UP5-TH
16 Gig RAM
OSX 10.8.4
Dual Displays
Camera - Logitach
Audio - Digital Out
Face Time...
Unfortunately I am in the same situation. 10.8.2 this method worked perfectly, 10.8.3 freeze on startup and had to remove the injection string.
Anyone with a suggestion?
Through the years I have had these CRC trouble two times on my hackintosh's. Both times they were a bad RAM module (Even passed the linux memtest). But again both times were fixed by installing a different set of RAM chips. My suggestion is to RMA your RAM and see if that works!
