yep, updated to 10.15.4 and worked fine.
Unfortunately i sold the razer blade stealth a few days ago, so i am not able to contribute any longer. Looking forward to buying an updated macbook pro 13/14“ when it is released (hopefully soon).
The Razer blade is a fine hackintosh machine, but some...
@roswellian
Using a Framebuffer/Platform-ID which has only 1 active Pipe/Port was my first approach to the problem.
That single active port had to be the internal port also. It was pure luck that there was a framebuffer for my system which only had one pipe/port active.
That theory worked on...
Hi @NONITS,
thanks - but tbh I dont really understand what the benefit is? I am using the native resolution of my display (1920x1080) and that works perfectly fine. I can additionaly select hidpi like 1280x800 or such, but that looks very small. Or am I missing something?
cheers
@Copperboy100 If both my efi and @NONITS efi did not work, there might be a different issue with your laptop. Tbh, it should work with the used framebuffer. The framebuffer patch can be found in the config.plist under devices/properties.
@evanrodge no customizations in dsdt, but i dont have...

Please find attached my EFI Folder and the Original BIOS v.1.06 and a modded version. To Flash the BIOS search for a Software called AfuWin64.
EFI Folder:
- it contains the patched aml's incl. DSDT from my machine. As @Feartech already pointed out - NEVER use a...
NVRAM Issue is btw solved by using this new method / ssdt which also helps z390 boards to get native nvram:
https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/blob/master/Docs/AcpiSamples/SSDT-PMC.dsl
No RC scripts and emuvariable needed any more.
Dont be irritated by OpenCore, it works for Clover as...
already solved here:

Its literally the first result when searching for razer blade stealth...
Thanks for the feedback - the oled panel is often difficult on hackintosh laptops as far as I remember from my old AW 13R3.
Would appreciate if you could upload your EFI Folder.
Cheers!
I would - but unfortunately I don't have it anymore - once I got a version I could install with, I used it as a basis and modified it. sorry
but you should be able to install with the full version as well...dont know why it doesn't work.
Maybe a bios setting?
gIOScreenLockState is a graphics...
I always install vanilla-like, as in no unibeast/multibeast.
Yes, I basically used this EFI Folder to install Mojave. Just a more stripped down version and after successfully installing, I optimized the EFI. After that, I normally updated to Catalina.
I have a hinch - could it be that the „disable/enable PEG Patch on PTS/WAK“ in DSDT has some method incorporated that triggers the external display functionality? That, after all, is a patch that gets activated after sleep.
Am not at home right now, so cant test it unfortunately.
Thanks for the reply and the answers.
I dont buy that explanation of the razer rep as well. Can't see how a dvmt change results in graphical / hardware issues.
I'll keep using that bios. If it results in hardware issues - fine. At least we'd know if the rep was right ;)
Btw: Did you solve the...
And you're telling me about the BIOS modding just NOW?? Just kidding :-)
I gotta correct my post unfortunately: Native NVRAM doesnt seem to be possible with our boards. I dont think you have it as well tbh - did you test your nvram by writing a test varible into it, reboot and check if it is...
Update - following benefits by using a modded BIOS so far:
- Native NVRAM. No need for RC Scripts / nvram.plist to have certain settings saved after reboot. Emuvariable is still needed to solve shutdown/reboot kernel panic --> CFG Lock= Disabled in modded BIOS
I guess that is somehow related...
