After update to 10.15.4, BIOS resets every time

Same for me, and in my case it's a Legacy BIOS motherboard (Not UEFI). I also need to reconfigure everything because IDE is set as default and many other settings needs to be tweaked. I reverted to 10.15.3 for the meantime. This error happens on both Clover r5107 (not tested 5108 yet) and...

[Guide] Intel Framebuffer patching using WhateverGreen

I'm not talking about Mojave at all. I'm on 10.13.6. I'm interested on making this crappy GPU work decently.

[Guide] Intel Framebuffer patching using WhateverGreen

Hi, I must be an idiot, but I can't make the dump of my FB (HD3000). I downloaded the debug versions of Lilu and Whatevergreen (on github) and set the -igfxdump boot arg, but I don't get the dump file. What am I doing wrong? I already have a find/replace entry on my config.plist to patch on...

Apple Reveals macOS 10.14 Mojave at WWDC - Available Fall 2018

I guess this is the end of hackintosh for me :'( My desktop is a P55 with an i5 760 and I use iMac11,3 SMBIOS which matches it perfectly, so no go. My laptop is an i5-2430M and use MacBookPro8,1 SMBIOS that also matches perfectly. There's no sight of getting new hardware anytime soon, so...

[solved] No boot entries in Clover UEFI mode

SUCCESS!!! I managed to make the SSD bootable again by wiping the EFI partition and reinstalling the bootloader from scratch. However, I wasn't satisfied to use Legacy anymore. I found out that my laptop detected FAT32 USBs for UEFI just fine but not my internal SSD. So I kept digging and...

[solved] No boot entries in Clover UEFI mode

Please Help!!!! I finally gave up and reinstalled Clover in Legacy Mode on my SSD (in the ESP) and now I can't boot from the SSD. It stays on a blinking cursor. What can I do??? From the USB I created it boots just fine. Help please!

[solved] No boot entries in Clover UEFI mode

Well, I installed Clover in UEFI mode in the SSD, but no UEFI option is detected on my BIOS. I read somewhere that you could add a manual path in the BIOS for clover, so I even created a boot option to EFI\BOOT\Cloverx64.efi with no luck. If I use that boot entry the screen stays with a...

[solved] No boot entries in Clover UEFI mode

So, those entries are not the SATA SSD (except the 01 which is clearly USB)??? 2:222 0:000 - [00]: Volume: PcieRoot(0x0)\Pci(0x1F,0x2)\VenHw(CF31FAC5-C24E-11D2-85F3-00A0C93EC93B,80) 2:222 0:000 Result of bootcode detection: bootable unknown (legacy) 2:222 0:000 - [01]: Volume...

[solved] No boot entries in Clover UEFI mode

There's no BIOS update. Maybe it's broken. But at least I can reach Clover GUI in UEFI. So, do you recommend to install in UEFI mode directly on the Mac SSD?? The weird part is that the preboot.log says that the entries are found, but then it says bootable unknown (legacy). That's what puzzles...

[solved] No boot entries in Clover UEFI mode

Does that has to do with no boot entries appearing in Clover? As far as I know, there's no fast boot option on my BIOS. I'll check again. I'd like to switch to clover UEFI mode but I need to be sure it works on the USB first. My system is working fine on Legacy but I see some lines and...

[solved] No boot entries in Clover UEFI mode

First a little background, I have macOS on my laptop Asus U46E for a while, since Sierra and now High Sierra. My laptop has an UEFI BIOS, is just text based but I have UEFI mode. At first, creating the USB with UEFI mode didn't work and I couldn't boot to the installer. I gave up and installed...

macOS High Sierra is Now Available on the Mac App Store

My motherboard is almost as old as yours. I also have SATA2. The name of the controller should be above the name of the SSD, like this:

macOS High Sierra is Now Available on the Mac App Store

In the screenshot the name of the sata controller is missing. Maybe that's doing something to macOS and prevents it from detecting it correctly as SSD.

macOS High Sierra is Now Available on the Mac App Store

Upgraded my 2 hackintoshes to HS just fine. The desktop from the GM and the laptop from 10.12.6. The only caveat is that I had to remove NightShiftUnlocker.kext from kexts/Other before the upgrade or it gave me KPs. After the installation I installed the kext and night shift works fine again...
