That’s not a problem. Unfortunately that’s normal. There’s nothing to remember the fans rgb setting on reboot.

    OpenCore z390 Aorus Pro WIFI?

@esafeddie thanks for the info. Since we have almost the same MB, I gave it a try. I noticed a few additional features in your EFI too. I've been building the latest OC and Kexts... End result is I do boot and will play around with the updated EFI. Only difference on the boot my monitor went...

    OpenCore z390 Aorus Pro WIFI?

@esafeddie just looked at your latest EFI, since I've been using your EFI for some time now with a lot of success (many thanks). I noticed you added SSDT-EC-USBX, and chanced from USBPorts.Kext to USBMap.kext can I ask why? and what's the difference?

I use esafeddie’s EFI, with virtualization. No problems at all.

[GUIDE] OpenCore 0.6.3: new memory properties section

I don't use this new section with my current 0.63 build. Since no one says there are benefits, I didn't take time to even try.

thanks @miliuco - great writeup, I dl'd dmidecode...didn't know about it. since there's no real benefit, I'm not sure im going to add. In my case OC 0.6.3 has been running clean (so far, fingers still crossed). thanks.

Unable to login to iMessage on Big Sur

So when I said "valid serial"......this is actually what I meant. You defnatley don't want one assigned to a real Mac or other machine. My bad.

Unable to login to iMessage on Big Sur

When I Moved over to Big Sur and OpenCore, I had some difficulties with iMessage too. I'd suggest going through your Platform info, pick new serial numbers, etc and make sure they are all valid.

I have windows and macOS on separate NVmes. my EFI included the window info. Make sure the paths are the same for you.

    [Success] Gigabyte Z390 Auros Pro, i9-9900k, Sapphire Nitro+ RX5700XT

Here's my lates EFI with all the latest files. Make sure you add your SMBIOS specific info. ports will probably be different too. If you have the USBPorts.Kext just switch them. Unfortunately I don't know how much more the Master and Pro boards will change this from working.

Which SMBIOS are you running? Are you able to view DRM videos? 1,1 was best for me....but open to options.
