This is kind of confusing. I have a hackintosh running El Capitan using the 9-series intel chipset and I absolutely have no problems with my USB. I haven't patched anything at all. System is 100% Vanilla. Not even AppleHDA is patched. Am I missing something?

Ok, I found the solution for the Low Memory issue. Get the Clover special edition from somewhere *ahem* and install the AptioFixv2 one, upgrading and deleting the old one. That should work. It worked for my hack at home and for one hack at the office.

It seems I can't even boot the El Cap GM installer using the current clover revision. OSXAPTIPFIXDRV - Requested memory exceeds our allocated relocation block. Any ideas?

I know this is sort of useless, but I really want to run my display at retina scaling. I'm a web designer and developer and I want to make sure that sites and other assets look good on retina scaling.

I did not use SwitchResX to set custom resolutions. I did all the magic using the plist. The plist file has no extension and it's properly recognized, the resolutions as well, but they are disabled. :( Check the plist attached. Any help?

Yes, the other guy knows what I'm talking about. Many people have successfully overrode their resolution on small screens, such as displaying 1080p @2x on a normal 1080p display.

What graphics card are you using to achieve this? I have tried în both an AMD Radeon 6850 and an NVidia GTX 550 Ti to add a custom resolution that would display at least 1080p Hidpi or at least 2560x1440 Lodpi. No method has worked so far.
