I had black screen also. Tried the agdpmod=pikera and I was able to boot ok. Downloaded WhateverGreen 1.3.4 and replaced the old and the system booted fine. Thanks!

I found the same. I have to unmount EFI for it to update. I found this to be strange but when I selected UEFI my system would not boot. I tried Legacy and looks like this option actually updated my EFI partition and my system booted just fine. So give that a try and see how it works.

You should be fine. I'm still on a Asus Z68V-Pro with i7-2600K and only updated to Nvidia 1050 and its working fine with H.S.

That did the trick. I was able to get it installed. I'm only able to boot into it with those commands and get only 1024x768 with slow graphic tearing but I can now play with various flags and bios settings. Thank you again! :o)

Try using the boot argument nv_disable=1 This helped me get the OS installed. When I booted from the key that did not work and I had to use the following flags: GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=0
