I didn't do much in my BIOS besides changing to AHCI mode and choosing the highest system performance preference on the EZ mode interface. My GPU is inserted in the beige PCI slot closest to the CPU. Did you remove the kexts? That was the only issue I ran into during my first go.

Yeah I checked the preferences and everything no sound. I ended up using a stereo audio (green jack) to usb adapter and speakers work now. I happened to have one from my old logitech headset
