I do not know if this a known thing or not. I just installed Mojave right over my Hackintosh High Sierra. No usb installer. No nothing.
Just clicked on the App Store version of Mojave and it installed. And then it did the update to the latest beta
GA-Z97X-UD3H, Intel Core i5, 8 GB Ram
I went through the same thing. Made about 5 attempts at creating a Clover usb installer and could never get it to boot to the os x installer page.
Wha t I finally did, and I hope this helps is when you get to the clover menu when you first start the usb drive, I went into "other" and change...
GA-Z97X-ud3h is my board and using intel graphics and an intel i5 processor.
I installed el capitan including all beta updates. Everything is running very smoothly.
Have not run into any problems other than:
To boot I must have the clover usb installer connected to the usb drive...
After installing Beta 2 I tried to install the driver again for audio, but Multibeast 7.4 just keeps "closing unexpectantly" now.
I will just have to wait. Multicast worked fine in Beta 1.
I updated to Beta 2 and lost audio. But everything else is running great.
I am wondering if there is a way to get the hard drive to boot on its own with going through the entire
installation process again. Thanks
Running GA-Z97x-UD3H and Intel 4600 graphics.
Installed and everything is running great. Internet and sound. Haven't tried anything else yet.
But I have to have the Clover USB thumb drive connected to boot. I could probably live with that,
but was wondering how could I boot without it...
